Artist's Comments
I scanned the classic series DVD covers and used the roundels from there as a wallpaper for a while, but I preferred the big minimalist roundels of the early 1970s - like the ones you see in Pyramids of Mars and Planet of the Daleks - really simple without the grp fluted glass in them, so I decided to draw my own from scratch. I love the way the are moodily lit from behind very simple but very effective. So here's my attempt... added a little cream lighting to the mix, as the plain white was too harsh on the eye.
